The Ferrari 365 GTC never asked for attention, and that is precisely why the people who knew these cars best bought it. Introduced in late 1968 as the 4.4-liter successor to the 330 GTC, with its public show debut at Geneva in March 1969, the GTC arrived just as the 365 GTB/4 was absorbing every headline Ferrari generated. The Daytona took the attention. The GTC took the discerning customers.
Produced from 1968 into 1970 with serial numbers running from SN11823 through SN12795, just 168 were built. The 365 GTC was the closed grand tourer of the twin-cam family, mechanically identical to its open twin, the 365 GTS, and sharing its refined engineering with the 365 GT 2+2.
Today the GTC occupies a position that surprises buyers who equate fame with value: a well-documented example trades ahead of many Daytonas.
