Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 History
1968-1971 | 801 Built | The Practical Ferrari 365
The Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was the Ferrari you could actually use every day, without compromise. Presented at the 1967 Paris Motor Show and built from 1968 through 1971, it was the first production model in the 365 series and the first Ferrari to offer genuine four-seat capability. While the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 ‘Daytona’ was grabbing headlines, the GT 2+2 was doing something harder: convincing serious buyers that a Ferrari could also be practical.
Eight hundred and one examples were built across a four-year production run, making it Ferrari’s best-selling model during its era. Serial numbers ran from SN10791 through SN14099. Fifty-two examples were built in right-hand drive.
